In Mexico’s Nayarit state, a devastating accident occurred when a passenger bus veered off the road and plunged into a ravine, resulting in the tragic loss of 18 lives, including three minors. Additionally, 22 individuals were injured in the incident.
The bus was en route from Mexico City to Tijuana, a city situated on the border with the US, when the unfortunate event took place. The rescue efforts were complicated due to the remote location, with state police, firefighters, the Mexican Red Cross, and other agencies collaborating to respond to the crisis.
As of now, the cause of the accident remains unknown, and authorities are conducting investigations to determine the factors that led to this heart-wrenching incident.
