According to local media, two police officers were shot and murdered while responding to a domestic dispute call in Edmonton, Alberta.
According to CTV News, the two patrol personnel attended to a family argument in an apartment complex in Edmonton on Thursday morning, according to Xinhua news agency.
They entered the premises, approached the suite, and were filmed by a male subject.
Constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan were brought to the hospital and proclaimed dead, according to CTV News.
A male suspect was also found dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to officials.
According to CTV News, one individual, a female related to the suspect, was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries, and the inquiry into the policemen’ murders was still in its early stages.
