According to reports, Apple‘s next OLED iPad Pro will cost the same as a MacBook Pro.
According to a recent supply chain report, Apple’s next iPad Pro models with OLED panels, which are slated to be released next year, would cost up to 80% more than current models, according to AppleInsider.
The 11-inch iPad Pro with an OLED display, in particular, is said to cost 80% more than the current model and will start around $1,500.
The 12.9-inch variant, on the other hand, is expected to be 60% more expensive, with a starting price of $1,800.
According to the source, the iPhone maker is also discussing pricing with display producers LG Display and Samsung Display.
However, it was rumoured last month that Apple has ordered OLED screens from LG Display and Samsung for its forthcoming iPad Pro versions, which are likely to be released next year.
