According to reports, former US President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges coming from a hush-money probe.
According to Xinhua, Trump faces 34 felony counts of falsifying company records and conspiracy in connection with hush money payments to two women prior to the 2016 US presidential election.
Trump, a Republican who served as President of the United States from early 2017 to early 2021, is being charged inside a courtroom at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City. He is the first former US president to be charged with a crime.
